Hanoi’s Party leader congratulates Nhan Dan Newspaper on Revolutionary Press Day

A delegation of Hanoi, led by Politburo member and Secretary of municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung, visited Nhan Dan (People’s) Newspaper on June 17 to offer congratulations on the 96th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

On behalf of the Party, authorities and people of Hanoi, Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung extended his best greetings to Editor-in-chief, members of the Editorial Board, Party Committee and all staff of Nhan Dan Newspaper on the special occasion.

He said that Hanoi and Nhan Dan Newspaper are expected to continue to enhance their long-standing cooperation more effectively and achieve better results to serve the common political tasks of the country as well as the capital city.

Hanoi’s leader expressed his belief that the newspaper would further develop and perform well its role as the Party’s mouthpiece as well as the voice of the Party, State and people.

Politburo member Dung noted that with a very important role as the capital of the country, Hanoi has advocated to develop in the "synchronous, green, clean, beautiful, modern" manner while paying much attention to preserving cultural values to gradually promote them with a long-term vision.

He hoped that the city would receive the support and close coordination from Nhan Dan Newspaper in the implementation of policies.

On behalf of Nhan Dan staff, member of the Party Central Committee and Editor-in-chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper Le Quoc Minh gave his sincere thanks to the capital city’s authorities and people as well as the Secretary Dinh Tien Dung for their sentiments.

He affirmed that the newspaper would is always ready to accompany and cooperate with Hanoi during its development process.

On the occasion, Editor-in-chief Minh congratulated the city for the recent achievements, while believing that under the leadership of the Secretary, the drastic participation of the whole political system and the support of people, Hanoi would achieve new development steps, deserving as the heart of the whole country.
