Over 92 trillion VND allocated to three national target programmes

The National Assembly Standing Committee has decided to allocate more than 92 trillion VND (3.9 billion USD) from the central budget for the 2021-2025 period to ministries and localities implementing three national target programmes.

On May 22, Chairman of the National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue promulgated Resolution No. 517/NQ-UBTVQH15 allocating the central budget for the 2021-2025 period for ministries, central agencies and localities in carrying out three national target programmes.

Of the total, over 47 trillion VND will be allocated to the implementation of the national target programme for socio-economic development in ethnic and mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, 18 trillion VND will be spent on the national target programme for sustainable poverty reduction and 27 trillion VND will be distributed to the national target programme on building new-style rural areas.

The National Assembly Standing Committee also decided to allocate over 34 trillion VND (1.4 billion VND) from the 2022 central budget to ministries and localities to implement three national target programmes.

Over 14.4 trillion VND will be spent on the national target programme for socio-economic development in ethnic and mountainous areas, over 8.6 trillion VND will be allocated to the national target programme for sustainable poverty reduction and 11 trillion VND will be distributed to the national target programme on building new-style rural areas.

According to the Resolution, the Government should urgently implement solutions to speed up the implementation of the three national target programmes, ensuring the effective management and use of the funds following the law.
