Fashion show honours the charm of Central Highlands’ silk and brocade

A fashion show honouring Bao Loc silk of Lam Dong province and brocade craft of ethnic minority groups in the southern Central Highlands was held along Xuan Huong lake in Da Lat city on December 26.

The event, co-hosted by the People’s Committees of Da Lat and Bao Loc cities along with Vietnam Silk House, was among the series of activities in celebration of Da Lat city’s 125th founding anniversary.

Themed ‘Flowers’, the show featured outfits made from silk and brocade, by 10 silk producers and 11 fashion designers, through the performance of 50 models from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and 40 schoolgirls in Da Lat.
