The donation of the life jackets aims to support their forces in the prevention and control of natural disasters, floods and storms, as well as in search and rescue; thereby tightening the solidarity and friendship relationship between the border guards of the two countries.
At the handover ceremony, the two sides updated each other on the border situation and the developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in their areas.
They also reached agreements on a joint working programme and foster coordination in information exchange, patrol activities, crime prevention and control, the protection of territorial sovereignty and border security in the coming time.
