The new infections decreased by 339 from a day earlier. Vientiane remained the biggest hotspot with 121 cases in a day.
The total caseload in Laos has so far reached 112,767, including 380 fatalities.
In order to reduce community cases, the Lao Government asked localities to serious follow pandemic prevention and control measures and prepare for provisional funding to buy vaccines and necessary medical supplies.
