Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has signed a decision approving the establishment of a National Steering Committee on Population and Development, with Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam being assigned as the Head of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee is tasked with directing and coordinating ministries and sectors to address important and inter-sectoral issues on population and development, while carrying out research, and proposing orientations to implement the work of population and development.
