Addressing the meeting, the President acknowledged the great sacrifices of generations of Dai Loc people, during the struggle for national independence, affirming that Dai Loc is not only a heroic land and the revolutionary base during the resistance, but also has many outstanding people with considerable contributions to the nation.
He appreciated the great changes in taking care of local people’s lives, particularly people with meritorious services, people in need, and policy beneficiaries, in addition to achievements in building new-style rural areas and building the local political system.
The State leader also asked local authorities to invest more in education and health which is of strategic importance to improve the quality of people’s lives.
On this occasion, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited and presented gifts to Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, national contributors, senior revolutionary veterans, and retired officials in Dai Loc district.
