Petrol prices adjusted down for 7th time this year

The retail price of petrol has been adjusted down for the seventh time this year on April 13 in the latest regular review of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

As of April 13, the price of biofuel E5 RON92 fell by VND613 to VND11,343 (US$0.49) per litre at the highest, and that of RON95-III was also down by VND621 to VND11,939 per litre.

Meanwhile, the price of diesel 0.05S and kerosene were VND10,823 per litre and VND10,823 per litre, down VND436 and VND502 per litre, respectively.

Mazut 180CST 3.5S is to be sold at no more than VND9,327 per kilogram, down VND126 per kilogram.

The two ministries review fuel prices every 15 days to adjust domestic prices in accordance with fluctuations in the global market.

Since the beginning of the year, prices have decreased by a cumulative VND8,500 per litre for E5RON92, VND8,600 per litre for RON95-III and VND6,000 per litre for diesel 0.05S.
