15th National Assembly's first extraordinary session opens in Hanoi

The 15th National Assembly (NA)'s first extraordinary session opened in Hanoi on the morning of January 4. The session was connected via videoconference to 62 delegations of NA deputies in centrally-run provinces and cities.

NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue delivered his opening speech.

While emphasising that this extraordinary session is of great importance as it attracted much attention from voters and Vietnamese people at home and abroad, NA Chairman Hue called on NA deputies to promote democracy, and raise the sense of responsibility to and contribute enthusiastic and practical ideas and opinions to the session’s contents.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung presents a draft Resolution on fiscal and monetary policies in support of the socio-economic recovery and development programme.
