Highland market busy ahead of Tet

In the highlands in Lao Cai province, the border markets are always crowded and colourful with various flowers, fruits and dong leaves, as locals are busy trading to prepare for the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet).

Whether in high mountains or in deep valleys, ethnic minorities always promise to meet each other at the year-end market, buying familiar items for the Tet holiday. They also invite each other to enjoy a cup of wine to welcome the new year of goodness.
