Hanoi welcomes second DPRK-US Summit

Many streets in Hanoi have been decorated with flags, fresh flowers and panels to welcome the second DPRK-USA Hanoi Summit Vietnam, scheduled for February 27-28.

Colourful flowers beautify the area along Tran Hung Dao Street ahead of the international media centre in service of the summit.

The handshaking symbols conveying a message of peace for the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chairman of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) Kim Jong Un have been placed along the main streets of Trang Tien, Dinh Tien Hoang, Ngo Quyen and Nguyen Thai Hoc, among others.

Many large-sized panels welcoming the DPRK-USA Summit are set up along the routes from Noi Bai airport to central Hanoi.

The message "Vietnam-partnership for sustainable peace" is hung high along the Nghi Tam - Au Co road.

The national flags of the United States and the DPRK are being depicted using flowers at the international media centre for the summit.
