The fishing festival takes place in the Vuc Rao area at the foot of the Hong Linh mountain range. Covering around 30 hectares, the area is rich in freshwater fish.

The event begins at 7 AM and ends at 10 AM the same day.

The number of participants at this year’s festival doubled from the previous year, with many of them being visitors to the locality.

According to local elders, in the past, a management board was established to work as guards for the area so that it would only be open for fish catching on the festival’s day.

The festival is observed on the Sunday in the middle of the fifth lunar month each year.
