Spreading power of great national unity bloc

The official session of the second National Congress of Vietnamese Ethnic Minorities themed “Under the Party’s glorious flag, all ethnic groups are equal; unite, respect and help each other; and promote their inner strength to develop alongside the country” officially took place on December 4.

Delegates from ethnic minority groups around the country gathered in the capital city of Hanoi with joy and excitement, anticipating a successful congress.

The event aimed to review the achievements and outcomes in the implementation of ethnic policies and ethnic affairs in the 2010-2020 period thereby drawing lessons and experience to continue improving ethnic policies and proposing orientations, goals, tasks and solutions in ethnic affairs for 2021-2030.

The congress is also a forum for ethnic minority groups to promote mutual learning and experience exchange as well as a socio-political activity to raise awareness and consolidate consensus amongst all under the Party’s leadership.
