NDO – From the end of April to the beginning of May every year, French variety peaches turn red and fully ripen on the hills across the Bac Ha Plateau in Lao Cai province. The peaches are sold at the local Bac Ha market (Lao Cai), attracting many tourists thanks to their sweet and crunchy taste.

According to Nguyen Xuan Giang, Head of the Agriculture and Rural Development Department of Bac Ha district, the district currently has about 70 hectares growing this type of peach, mostly in the communes of Ta Chai, Na Hoi and Ban Pho as well as Bac Ha town.
