Hanoi youth volunteers contribute to national election

Not only fulfilling their rights and obligations as citizens, thousands of youth union members in Hanoi left special impressions in the hearts of the people by contributing to the success of the elections of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA) and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

According to Phu Xuyen District’s Youth Union, more than 600 youth volunteers joined hands to support the organisation the May 23 election by distributing masks and measuring the body temperature of voters. They also went to the homes of voters under quarantine to collect their ballots.

Youth union members in Long Bien District brought a ballot box to households where voters are under quarantine.

From the early morning, Long Bien District’s youth volunteers joined a communication programme to mobilise people to go to the poll.

Putting on personal protective equipment, youths in Dong Da District visited houses where voters are under quarantine to help them exercise their citizenship rights.
