Top legislator hands over decisions and resolutions on NA’s organisation work

The National Assembly (NA) Party Delegation and the NA Standing Committee held a ceremony at the NA Building in Hanoi on July 21 to announce and hand over their decisions and resolutions on the NA’s organisation work.

The event was attended by Politburo members: Vuong Dinh Hue - Secretary of the NA Party Delegation and Chairman of the NA; and Tran Thanh Man - Deputy Secretary of the NA Party Delegation and Standing Vice Chairman of the NA.

At the ceremony, NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue handed over decisions on the establishment of the Party groups and the appointment of heads of the Party groups at the NA Council for Ethnic Affairs and NA Committees.

The top legislator then joined Standing NA Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Man to hand over the decisions on appointing heads of the Party groups of NA deputy delegations in cities and provinces, as well as resolutions approving the election results of heads of NA deputy delegations.

NA Vice Chairpersons Nguyen Duc Hai, Nguyen Khac Dinh and Tran Quang Phuong handed over resolutions approving the election results of deputy heads of NA deputy delegations in cities and provinces.

Addressing the event, NA Chairman Hue emphasised that over the past 75 years, the NA has always accompanied the nation and fulfilled its responsibilities, with its operational quality and efficiency increasingly enhanced.

Therefore, the 15th legislature needs to build on and further promote the significant results attained in previous tenures, he said, stating that in the coming time, the NA Party Delegation and the NA Standing Committee will adopt specific schemes to renovate and improve the operational efficiency and the coordination quality between the NA and other agencies in the political system.

The NA will continue to institutionalise the guidelines and policies outlined in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, in conjunction with concretising the Constitution and reviewing the legal system and law promulgation, the top legislator added. He stressed the role and responsibilities of heads of Party groups, heads and deputy heads of cities and provinces’ NA deputy delegations, and NA deputies in ensuring the NA’s operational quality.

NA Chairman Hue asked the NA Committee for Ethnic Affairs, NA Committees, NA deputy delegations and each NA deputy to bring the breath of life into the agenda of their working sessions, while enhancing coordination with Party committees and agencies in the political system to effectively fulfil their functions and assigned tasks, contributing to further improving the legislature’s operational quality and efficiency.
