Working with the leaders of Bac Giang Province, the Deputy PM appreciated the efforts made by their provincial Party Committee, authorities and people in implementing anti-epidemic measures in accordance with each period as well as boosting economic development.

Especially, the number of employees returning to work was higher than before the epidemic; therefore, as the economic growth rate returned to normal, many targets were higher, and budget revenue increased by more than 48%.

The pandemic prevention and control have been carried out methodically, promptly and quickly, contributing to reducing the damages caused by the epidemic.

Emphasising the pandemic’s impacts on worker’s lives, Deputy PM Thanh asked the local authorities to review the worker’s housing, particularly the arrangement of residential land for the workers when developing the plans for new industrial zones.

He also noted that the province needs to make more efforts to soon complete the expansion of Nhu Nguyet Bridge and the ministries should support the locality.

The Deputy PM urged the relevant agencies to work with large processing enterprises and consumers to enhance the consumption and use of meat products, sharing difficulties with farmers. It is crucial to make solutions to support farmers in connecting markets and forming price-stabilisation points.
