Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh acknowledged and highly lauded the Academy's outstanding achievements and important contributions to the cause of national construction and defence, and its international duties associated with the process of building, fighting for and achieving the glorious victory of the Vietnam People’s Army.
The Academy has always been a solid “fortress” protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, defeating the plots and tricks of hostile forces on the political and ideological front, he noted.
He expressed his strong belief that the Academic will keep improving the quality of its training and scientific research, building a regular and modern academy with a strong and transparent Party unit, thus making an active contribution to a politically strong army and enhancing the fighting power of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army.
