Representative agencies abroad contribute to cooperation between Hanoi and foreign countries

Hanoi proposed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to continue contributing to developing and expanding the cooperation between the capital city and foreign countries in a deep and effective manner.

On October 28, the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee worked with heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad during 2021-2024 period.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vu Quang Minh and Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee Chu Ngoc Anh attended the event.

At the working session, representatives from departments and agencies in Hanoi asked the Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to support the promotion of the capital city’s images to international friends, attraction of foreign investment, and exchanges in many fields.

For his part, Foreign Deputy Minister Vu Quang Minh gave his sincere thanks to Hanoi authorities for their cooperation in foreign affairs while highly valuing the city’s efforts in implementing the “dual goal” of controlling the epidemic and boosting economic development.

He also affirmed that the quintessential values of the capital are the pride for the heads of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to introduce to international friends.

Chairman of the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee announced the capital city’s targets and tasks for 2021-2025 period as well as expressed his hope that the Vietnamese representative agencies will strengthen regular exchanges and cooperation towards the city’s development.
