Resolutions approved at 15th NA’s second session

The 15th National Assembly (NA) continued the second session in Hanoi on November 12 under the chair of NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

In the morning, Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung answered questions about issues under his watch.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also made clear issues regarding infrastructure development, support for residents and workers in the near future, measures to achieve economic targets, the action programme on COVID-19 response, vaccine diplomacy strategy, attraction of foreign investment to Vietnam during and after COVID-19, and measures for global integration.

In the afternoon, Chairman of the NA Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh presented reports on explanation of the draft Resolution on economic restructuring plan for the 2021-2025 period, the draft Resolution on 2022 socio-economic development plan, and the draft Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of, as well as Appendix – List of national statistical indicators of the Statistics Law.

The legislature later voted to approve these documents.

Member of the NA Standing Committee and Chairwoman of the NA’s Committee for Judicial Affairs Le Thi Nga delivered a report on collecting feedback on the draft Resolution on the organisation of virtual courts and a report on explaining the draft Law on amendments and supplements to several articles of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Lawmakers also approved them later.

On November 13 morning, the NA is due to pass the Resolution on the State budget estimate 2022, the Resolution on several special mechanisms and policies for the development of Hai Phong city and the provinces of Nghe An, Thanh Hoa and Thua Thien-Hue, the Resolution on the national land use planning for 2021-2030 with a vision to 2050, and the 2021-2025 land use plan, the Resolution on the 2022 central budget allocation.

In the closing session, they will also adopt the Resolution on question-and-answer activities and the session’s Resolution.
