The parliamentary leader also inaugurated the library centre and a monitoring and operation centre for the Supreme People’s Court.

Congratulating the Supreme Court on the new projects and digital tools, Hue stated that the event marks a significant step in applying information technology to court operations, in order to enhance the quality of its work.

He underlined that these projects have laid the groundwork for realising the vision of digital courts and smart courts throughout Vietnam in the future, helping to meet the needs of the people and enterprises, as well as the expectations of several generations of judges.

The top lawmaker also asked courts, at all levels, to make efforts to fulfil the mission of defending justice, human rights, citizens’ rights, socialism, the interest of the State, the legitimate rights and the interests of individuals and organisations.

For his part, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Nguyen Hoa Binh stated that the inauguration of these projects is just the beginning.

In addition to increasing IT applications, another important thing is to continue enhancing the quality of court officials, to meet the needs of judiciary reform.
