Hanoi’s leaders pay tribute to revolutionary soldier Nguyen Phong Sac

A delegation of Hanoi, led by Politburo member and Secretary of Hanoi municipal Party Central Committee Dinh Tien Dung, paid tribute to revolutionary soldier Nguyen Phong Sac, on the occasion of his 120th birthday anniversary (February 1, 1902-2022).

The city’s leaders offered incense and flowers to commemorate Nguyen Phong Sac, one of the first communists who made significant contributions to the birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

The delegates pledged to follow the revolutionary predecessors, especially comrade Nguyen Phong Sac, to uphold the great unity and inspire the aspirations of innovation and international integration, among all agencies and people.

The Party, authorities and people of Hanoi, also vowed to make the capital city more beautiful, prosperous, civilised and modern.

Following the incense offering ceremony, the delegates visited and presented Tet (Lunar New Year) gifts to comrade Nguyen Phong Sac’s family.
