Ho Chi Minh City leaders pay homage to war heroes

A delegation of Ho Chi Minh City officials headed by municipal Party Secretary Nguyen Van Nen offered flowers and incense to fallen soldiers and heroes at the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs Cemetery in Thu Duc.

Within the cemetery, the delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the contributions of the heroic Vietnamese mothers and fallen soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for national independence and freedom.

The delegation also paid homage to the deceased leaders and revolutionaries at the Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery.

On the same day, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City leaders laid wreaths at the Ben Duoc Martyrs Monument and visited two cemeteries for fallen soldiers, revolutionaries and national contributors in Cu Chi District.

Also, on January 28, the delegation visited the National Historical and Cultural Park in Thu Duc to commemorate the Hung Kings, 17th-century general Nguyen Huu Canh and Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Ton Duc Thang.
