National symposium promotes study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example

A national symposium and a photo and book exhibition on enhancing revolutionary morality andwiping out individualism in accordance with President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style are scheduled to take place in Hanoi on May 12.

The information was released at a press conference held in Hanoi on May 5.

The events, jointly organised by the Party Committee of the Central Agencies’ Bloc, the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc, the Communist Review, and Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, aims to celebrate the 132nd anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2022) and the 15th founding anniversary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies’ Bloc and the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc.

The symposium is expected to enhance the education of cadres and party members about communist ideals, the Party’s guidelines, the duties and ethics of party members, the need to resolutely wipe out individualism; as well as fostering and improving revolutionary morality, solidarity, organisation and discipline; performing the task of building and rectifying the Party, improving the Party's leadership capacity and fighting strength.

More than 80 presentations were sent to the Organising Committee, focusing on analysing and summarising the practices needed, clarifying theoretical and supplementary issues, developing the ideology and theory of Party building; and proposing solutions to contributing to spreading the value of President Ho Chi Minh's works.

A photo and book exhibition will introduce works about President Ho Chi Minh, published by The Su That (Truth) National Political Publishing House; highlighting the achievements and results following the implementation of Directive No.05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style; the moral standards of cadres and party members as promulgated by the Party Committee of the Central Agencies’ Bloc and the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc.
