Speaking at the session, Politburo member Vo Van Thuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the outstanding results of the Academy achieved in the past years.
He expressed his wish that the Academy would continue to innovate training contents, programmes and forms; further promote scientific research; and protect the Party's ideological foundation; renovate the organisation, improve the quality of operations of the entire political school system.
The Academy was also asked to constantly improve the quality of its leadership team; teaching staff as well as continue to promote and play a pioneering role on the front to protect the Party's ideological foundation, he noted.
