Party, State leaders pay homage to President Ho Chi Minh

A delegation of leaders of the Party, State, National Assembly, government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front on April 29 laid a wreath in tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of southern liberation and national reunification (1975-2015).

The delegation included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, and former State President Tran Duc Luong.

The function was also attended by former Party and State leaders, Politburo members, Secretaries of the Party Central Committee, National Assembly Vice Chairmen, Deputy Prime Ministers, revolutionary veterans, and leaders of ministries and sectors.

The delegation then laid wreaths at the Memorial for Heroic Martyrs.

Also this morning, delegations from the Party Central Committee’s Military Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, and Hanoi municipal authorities paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum and laid flowers at the Memorial of Heroic Martyrs.
