At the ceremony, General Ngo Xuan Lich presented the National Protection Order, first class to the hospital for its outstanding achievements and contributions over the past 65 years.

Addressing the ceremony, the General appreciated the efforts of generations of leaders, officers and doctors of Hospital 108, contributing to promoting the traditions of the Vietnam People’s Army.

He required the hospital to continue to thoroughly adhere to guidelines, views and policies of the Party and the Central Military Commission on military and defence tasks, as well as development of Vietnamese medicine, particularly military medicine.

The hospital’s leaders should focus on comprehensively improving the quality of all fields as well as creating important breakthroughs on professional knowledge and service quality in order to fulfill the tasks of giving emergency aid, treatment and care of patients, said General Lich.

He also asked the hospital to further enhance scientific research and application of advanced technological achievements in diagnosis and treatment; as well as readily respond to natural disasters and maintain combat readiness.

In addition to building the Party Committee, the Military Central Hospital 108 should promote the campaign 'Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh's Moral Example', noted the General.
