He also emphasised that the PM had asked the central ministries and branches of the Government to implement policies and increase budget revenues to ensure social welfare and good living conditions for contributors to the revolution.

The Deputy PM praised efforts made by the Party committee and authorities of Dak Nong province to care for the beneficiaries of such policies while he urged the local administration to mobilise all-round efforts to care for contributors to the revolution.

He also expressed his hope that contributors to the revolution in the province would uphold the revolutionary tradition and contribute more useful ideas to developing their localities.

Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh asked the delegates to focus on encouraging their descendants to fully implement the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws.

Hau Giang produced more than 35,000 revolutionaries, including 1,839 Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, 39 Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and Heroes of Labour, 5,062 wounded soldiers, 7,276 contributors to the revolution and 1,135 revolutionary activists arrested and imprisoned during the war.
