The President emphasised that the university should continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies related to education and training.

He urged the university to expand its scale as well as improve the quality of training in order to produce high quality policy makers, economic managers and business administrators for central and local authorities.

The State leader noted that the school needs to make more efforts to become a high-quality centre for scientific research on economics, business administration jurisprudence in the region and the world. He asked the UEH to pay much attention to fostering and improving the qualifications of teaching staff and managers.

It is essential for the university to promote exchange and co-operative activities with schools in the region and the world to learn from valuable experience on building advanced curriculum, said President Quang.

The President called for close co-ordination between the UEH and ministries, agencies and localities to mobilise scientists, experts and policy makers both in the country and abroad to join scientific seminars on urgent issues in socio-economic development, coping with climate change and international integration.
