At the meeting, the voters voiced their concern about a wide range of pressing issues, such as protecting the environment, building infrastructure, developing trade villages and managing land.
They also stressed the need to take further interest in supporting policies to develop agriculture and the construction of new-style rural areas.
The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee thanked the voters for their sincere and honest opinions.
The city will work to further enhance its management capacity at the grassroots level, as well as to devise more drastic measures to deal with violations, he noted.
He also urged local leaders to work out measures to address the people’s concerns quickly.
