According to the Inspection Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, Tho, who is also Vice Secretary of the Da Nang municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party delegation to the municipal People’s Committee, was co-responsible for violations and shortcomings of the municipal Party Committee’s Standing Board in the 2015-2020 tenure.
As the leader of the municipal People’s Committee, he held the main responsibility for violations and shortcomings in land and urban order management. He was also found to have not been proactive in submitting proposals on personnel in some agencies of the city’s administration that are under the municipal Party Committee’s management to the municipal Party Committee.
Earlier, the official had also been given a warning by the Party Central Committee’s Inspection Commission.
