Dai Bieu Nhan Dan Newspaper marks its 30th anniversary

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on September 24 to mark 30th anniversary of Dai Bieu Nhan Dan (“The People’s Representative”) Newspaper, which was founded on October 5, 1988.

The event was attended by National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and representatives of leaders of the NA, ministries and sectors.

Over the past 30 years, Dai Bieu Nhan Dan Newspaper has always thoroughly grasped its political tasks as well as the orientation for communications of the Party, State and National Assembly, contributing to the cause of national construction and development.

Addressing the ceremony, NA Vice Chairman Phung Quoc Hien expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the newspaper’s editorial board, reporters and employees of the newspaper over the past 30 years.

He also asked the newspaper to continue to improve its contents and timely popularise information on the NA operation and new laws and policies to better fulfil its role as the voice of the NA, the NA deputies and voters across the country.

On the occasion, the Newspaper was honoured with the Labour Order (second class) for its achievements.
