Minister To Lam meets voters in Bac Ninh

Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, who is also a member of the Bac Ninh provincial National Assembly (NA) delegation, hosted a meeting with voters of Thuy Hoa commune in Yen Phong district of the northern province of Bac Ninh on September 24.

At the meeting, the NA deputies informed voters of the tentative programme and time of the upcoming sixth session of the 14th NA which will open on October 20 and last until November 22.

At the session, the NA is expected to pass nine bills and comment on six bills, review a report on the socio-economic situation, take votes of confidence on titles elected by the NA and decide on some other important contents.

The voters raised questions on crime prevention and recent violations related to the 2018 national high school exam in some localities.

Minister To Lam briefed the voters on a number of issues relating to the national socio-economic, security and order situation and affirmed that security forces will continue to focus on fighting crimes in order to maintain security and order.
