PM inspects combat readiness of Dak Nong police

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visited the police force of Dak Nong province on January 14, to inspect their combat readiness and attend an inaugural ceremony of a memorial to President Ho Chi Minh.

The government leader praised the efforts of Dak Nong’s police officers in ensuring security and social order in 2018 and extended his best wishes to them on the occasion of the upcoming Tet or Lunar New Year.

He noted that the police officers of the Central Highlands province must always remain vigilant in order to ensure safety for the people to enjoy the New Year.

Attending the ceremony to inaugurate a memorial house to President Ho Chi Minh, PM Phuc stated that the house will be a meaningful address to educate police officers on the revolutionary tradition and for them to follow the example of President Ho Chi Minh.

Also on the morning of January 14, the Prime Minister visited and offered his Tet congratulations to 85-year-old Le Thi Ngo, whose husband and two younger brothers are all revolutionary martyrs.

The government leader expressed his deep gratitude to the contributions and sacrifices to the nation of Ms Ngo’s family and wished her good health on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year.
