At the event, voters appreciated the results and innovations of the 14th National Assembly (NA)’s seventh session as well as expressed their concerns about various issues.

They also voiced their concerns about the NA’s role in making laws and other important issues such as construction planning, environmental protection, developing cultural life, and improving the quality of public works and infrastructure standards.

Also on June 19, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, General Do Ba Ty met voters in Bao Thang and Bao Yen districts, the northern province of Lao Cai to inform them of the outcomes of the recent seventh meeting of the 14th NA.

Most of the voters highly valued the results of the legislative meeting, which, they said, reflected reform and democracy. They raised concerns over a range of issues such as the handling of complaints and denunciations, environmental protection, and policies for disadvantaged people in remote areas.

The Vice Chairman asked the provincial NA deputy delegation and all-level People’s Councils to further enhance their supervisory role and requested that constituents’ opinions be transferred to those authorities concerned for consideration.
