In her speech, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong praised the achievements of the province over the past three decades and urged Quang Tri to tap into its strengths to boost its socio-economic development.

For its accomplishments over the past 30 years, the province has been awarded the Independence Order, first class.

On the occasion, National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong paid her respects to fallen soldiers at several cemeteries in Quang Tri province, visited the ancient citadel of Quang Tri, and attended an inaugural ceremony for a solar farm.
