At the meeting, held ahead of the NA’s 8th plenary session, local voters expressed their support for the Party and State’s anti-corruption drive.
In addition, the voters voiced concerns over numerous issues, including the rampancy of fake goods, goods of unknown origin, and low-quality commodities; and the prevention of drug crime, environmental pollution, food safety, and others.
Listening to the voters’ concerns and recommendations, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh appreciated that their opinions touched upon many pressing issues while reflecting their aspirations.
The Deputy PM also affirmed that the Party and State have paid heed to the anti-corruption efforts and the Central Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption will continue bringing more corruption cases to light.
Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh and the other NA members representing Long An also took note of the voters’ proposals and will transfer them to the relevant agencies.
