PM congratulates Commission for External Relations on 70th anniversary of Traditional Day

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc paid a visit to and worked with the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for External Relations in Hanoi on October 31, on the occasion of the commission’s 70th anniversary of Traditional Day (November 1, 1949 -2019).

Speaking at the meeting, the PM underscored that throughout its 70 years of establishment, striving and maturity, the PCC Commission for External Relations has made a number of significant contributions to Vietnam’s revolutionary movement and the great foreign affairs achievements of the Party and the country.

He added that the Party’s external relations have been constantly expanded in an extensive manner, not only with the communist parties, workers’ parties, leftist parties and progressive movements, but also with the ruling parties, political parties, major opposition parties and the parties which have a political future in many of Vietnam’s strategic and important partners.

The Prime Minister expressed his belief that the Commission will continue to unite and uphold the achieved results, in order to successfully promote the combined strength of the Party's external relations together with the state diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy as well as to successfully implement the foreign policy of the Party and the State.
