Various activities to mark Vietnamese Communist Party’s 90th anniversary

A wide variety of activities will be held in the coming time to celebrate the 90th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam – CPV (February 3, 1930-2020).

The information was released at a meeting held in Hanoi on November 27, discussing the implementation of celebration activities.

The event was chaired by Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee and Head of the PCC’s Commission for Education and Communication.

A solemn ceremony as well as national scientific seminars will be the highlights during the celebrations.

In addition, numerous art programmes will be held nationwide, especially in remote and border areas, islands and localitiespossessing relic sites and monuments dedicated to President Ho Chi Minh.

Notably, a live television programme will broadcast from Hanoi, Hai Phong city, Vinh Long province and Con Dao district (Ba Ria-Vung Tau province) at the same time, aiming to honour outstanding party committees, organisations and membersaround the country.

The PCC’s Commission for Education and Communication asked for putting communication contents of the CPV’s anniversary into Party cells’ activities and meeting.

The Commission also directed the Central Studio for Documentary & Scientific Film to make documentary films on the CPV, while asking the Ho Chi Minh Museum to hold an exhibition themed ‘Being proud of the 90 years of glorious tradition of the CPV’.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism was told to launcha propaganda poster contest marking the 90th founding anniversary of the CPV.

The Ministry of Information and Communication will enhance the management of communication activities, particularly the edition and publishing of propaganda publications.
