At the meeting, the voters expressed their discontent with the suspended plans in their neighbourhoods, causing them to be unable to construct or repair their homes, or transfer their properties.

Some stated that their lands had been acquired but compensation and resettlement were delayed.

In District 10, many voters expressed their concerns over corruption and moral degradation among some Party members and government officers, wishing that the Party and State deal with corruption more aggressively and strictly.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary Nhan asked the leaders of Nha Be District to provide the people with definite answers about the state of the plans, whether to go ahead or to revoke them.

He also informed the voters that the city will carry out the compensation and resettlement in an expedited process to ensure the interests of those concerned.

Regarding corruption, the city leader stated that it is necessary to punish corrupt officials severely.
