In the process of improving the quality of draft documents, the team should keep them updated on the latest situations so that the documents are generalised and inspirational, while listening to, respecting and promoting the intellectual of experts and scientists with in-depth knowledge in each specific field, General Secretary Trong said.

He hailed the Political Report as a central report, insisting that other reports must go with the central report.

He asked the sub-committee on documents to work closely with the sub-committees on socio-economic affairs and Party regulations to create a high consensus, emphasising that the documents should review the 35 years since the Doi Moi (renewal) was launched and the 10-year implementation of the supplemented and developed Platform 2011.
