Representatives from the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union told a press conference in Hanoi on May 15 that the congress will be attended by 400 youths who have attainedexcellent achievements in study and work. They come from 63 provinces and cities around the country.
The congress, organised by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, aims to discover and commend outstanding young individuals in their studying and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style for the 2018-2020 period; promote patriotic emulation movements in the youth; as well as celebrate Party Congresses at all levels, in the run up to the 13th National Party Congress.
During the Congress, delegates will pay respect to President Ho Chi Minh at his Mausoleum, participate in social security activities, and attend a ceremony to honour young role models following President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings.
