Efforts to step up mass mobilisation in political system requested

A meeting to evaluate the results of mass mobilisation activities of the State administrative agencies and authorities at all levels in the first six months of 2020 was held in Hanoi on July 16.

At the meeting, delegates focused on analysing and evaluating the results of the work carried out in the first six months of the year, while proposing solutions to fulfil the tasks for the remaining months of the year.

Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh emphasised that mass mobilisation work in general and mass mobilisation activities of state administrative agencies and authorities at all levels have always received the due attention of the Politburo, Secretariat, Government and Prime Minister.

The achievements in the Government’s mass mobilisation work in the past have contributed to safeguarding legal rights and interests, building trust and high consensus among the public, and spurring socio-economic development, he added.

Addressing the meeting, Politburo member, Secretary of Party Central Committee (PCC) and Head of the PCC's Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai called for further efforts to step up mass mobilisation in the political system as well as to improve the efficiency of State management across spheres, streamline administrative procedures and improve the business environment.
