Over the past five years, the Office has successfully fulfilled its role of advising the Central Committee in Party affairs and coordinating the activities of the Central Committee’s advisory bodies.

In the next tenure, the Office will build on its tradition, reform its working style, and build a staff of politically staunch and professionally competent Party members and cadres.

Speaking at the convention, Permanent member of the Secretariat Tran Quoc Vuong congratulated the Office for its achievements from the past five years and asked each member of the Office to be fully aware of their weighty responsibilities in the coming term.

He noted that the Party committee of the Office needs to make its Party-related activities more substantive and effective while each member should continue enhancing their capabilities and follow reality closely in order to refute misguided viewpoints.

The Politburo member also asked the Office to have a firm grasp of the Party conventions in provinces and centrally-governed cities, as well as bodies under the Central Committee, in order to help the Politburo and the Secretariat to give appropriate instructions regarding the organisation of such events.
