Speaking at the event, the Vice President lauded the achievements that Quang Binh province has gained in its patriotic emulation movements and reward work during 2016-2020.
She also emphasised that Quang Binh province should continue to maintain its results; enhance Party building; develop its pure, strong, streamlined and effective political system as well as promote democracy and a great sense of unity among all people.
Vice President Thinh asked the provincial authorities to implement strategic breakthroughs in economic development as well as promote the potential and strengths of the locality and develop its industries and services, especially the tourism, power, renewable energy, processing and manufacturing industries as well as hi-tech agriculture.
Quang Binh should continue to thoroughly grasp and apply President Ho Chi Minh’s thoughts on patriotic emulation while effectively implementing emulation movements in association with enhancing the study and following of President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.
At the congress, many collectives and individuals received the Labour Order and emulation soldiers title and Government emulation flags for their outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movements during the 2016-2020 period.
On the occasion, the Vice President donated VND1 billion to local people who have been affected by floods and children who are living in difficult circumstances.
