Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission meets voters in Khanh Hoa

Candidates running for seats in the 15th National Assembly (NA) of Khanh Hoa Province’s constituency No. 1, including Politburo member and Head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Tran Tuan Anh, held a meeting with local voters in Ninh Hoa Town and Van Ninh District from May 5-11.

At the meeting, the candidates highlighted their own action plans, focusing on promoting the role of people’s representatives, protecting the interests of people, and engaging in deciding important issues of the country and actively supervising the implementation of laws and operations of the State, Government and local administrations.

After listening to voters’ opinions and aspirations, the candidates pledged that, if selected, they will work hard and regularly meet people to understand their aspirations.

Voters at the meeting spoke highly of the action plans of the candidates, while giving their opinions on many issues such as the national construction strategy towards 2025, 2030 and 2045; COVID-19 prevention and control; and improving the quality of health care and education, environmental protection, and social welfare, among others.

They showed their hope that the 15th NA will strengthen its supervision over important programmes and projects, and put forward stronger measures to boost socio-economic development.

On behalf of candidates in the constituency, Politburo member Tran Tuan Anh expressed his thanks to the voters for contributing their opinions.

Noting his action plan, he said if elected, as an NA deputy of Khanh Hoa Province, he will keep close contact with local voters to learn about their wishes, honestly reflect their opinions to the parliament and State agencies, and deal with citizens’ complaints, denunciations, and petitions in a timely and effective manner.

Other meetings with voters were also held on the occasionin Cao Lanh City, in the southern province of Dong Thap.

The elections of deputies to the 15th NA and all-level People’s Councils for the 2021-2026 tenure are slated for May 23.
