At the working session with the provincial election commission, Xuan stated the province needs to ensure fairness in election canvassing and the campaign should focus on the candidates, the rights and responsibilities of voters and voting rules, especially in remote areas.

She noted that Lam Dong has not recorded any Covid-19 infections but the risk remains high since it is a major tourist destination that attracts a large number of tourists.

As such the Vice President asked the province to not be complacent and to have back-up plans so as to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
Lam Dong Province will select seven from 13 candidates to represent it at the 15th National Assembly.

On the same day, National Assembly Secretary General Bui Van Cuong inspected election preparations in Gia Lai Province, asking the province to step up its publicity campaign in order to achieve the highest voter turnout.

In the northern province of Bac Kan, Minister of Defence Phan Van Giang asked the provincial authorities to increase communication about the election and ensure it will be held in a safe manner.
