Man said the meeting intended to agree on a report to be submitted to a virtual national conference to be held by the National Election Commission on May 18.

At the meeting, delegates discussed the working report of the Personnel Subcommittee since its establishment in September last year.

In his concluding remarks, Man recognised the efforts and responsibility of the Personnel Subcommittee as well as the effective cooperation of the National Election Commission Office and agencies of the National Assembly Office.

Noting that the election is just six days away, Man asked the Personnel Subcommittee to promptly deal with possible situations in regard to the epidemic, natural disasters, security and other unexpected events.

He asked the Personnel Subcommittee to make preparations to ensure that the votes are counted promptly and accurately and that the results are announced in accordance with the specified timeline.

The National Assembly Vice Chairman also called for cooperation and information-sharing from other subcommittees to work towards the common goal of ensuring a successful election.
