Promoting Vietnam-China Party relations

Vietnamese and Chinese Party officials, scholars and experts gathered at an online symposium on June 25 to discuss the relationship of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China in the past, present and future.

The event was jointly held by the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities under the Vietnam National University - Ho Chi Minh City and Guangxi University for Nationalities (China).

The symposium saw the participation of leaders of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, leaders of Guangxi province, the Consulate General of China in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as diplomats, scholars, and experts in the field of Vietnam and China studies.

Delegates discussed issues such as: achievements and experiences in the 100 years of establishment of the Communist Party of China, the exchange and cooperation relations between the two political parties of Vietnam and China in the present and in the future, the enhancement to the cooperation between the two countries for peace, security and regional development in the new context, and others.

The symposium aimed to mark the 71st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.
