The Government leader made the statement at a reception on November 23 for executives of major Japanese corporations in the fields of energy, apparel, retail, consumer goods and infrastructure, as part of his ongoing visit to Japan.

He noted that if any problems are not solved, they could directly report them to him.

At the meeting, the PM congratulated the Japanese firms on their successful operations in Vietnam and welcomed their expansion of investment in fields of Vietnam’s demand such as green and renewable energy, digital transformation, e-commerce and sustainable development.

PM Chinh suggested them financially assist Vietnam in improving human resources up to international standards, share management experience and devise strategies to export Vietnamese goods.

He also informed that Vietnam is safely, flexibly adapting to and effectively controlling the pandemic for socio-economic development.

Business executives thanked the Vietnamese Government and localities for their support over the past years. They described Vietnam as a significant and strategic market and wished to expand their operations in various areas in the country.
